MECELLOSE® are non-ionic cellulose ethers, thanks to appropriate modifications, they can be used in a wide range of applications, from construction and water-soluble architectural coatings, cosmetics, petroleum technologies, polymerizations to pharmaceutical products. The common name is Methylcellulose.
Depending on the type and modification, Mecellose exhibits unique properties:
dissolves easily in cold water,

increases viscosity and extends stability in emulsion systems,

creates a clean and flexible film that is an excellent barrier to oils and greases,
is fully compatible with other ionic and non-ionic auxiliaries in aqueous solutions,
is stable in a wide pH range of 3.0-11.0,
improves workability, applicability, and open time in cement and gypsum applications,
shows the properties of surfactants in solutions, acting as a protective colloid and emulsifier,
transforms into a gel when the temperature rises to a certain level and returns to its original form when cooled
