Coalescents

Coalescent Esterol is, to put it simply, an additive that is intended to influence the quality properties of various types of paints or coatings, enriching them accordingly. It is added to paints and varnishes as an external plasticizer, with the aim, among other things, to reduce the minimum temperature of the MFFT film formation. Thanks to it, it is possible to make coatings able to meet a variety of conditions and needs of various industries. e.g., characterized by greater resistance to external factors or flexibility.

Coalescent Esterol is VOC free - the boiling point is 255 degrees C, which means that it is above the VOC limit (250 degrees C). In Poland, there are standards limiting VOC emissions into the environment by specifying permissible values for the maximum content of Volatile Compounds. Organic in products In addition, many production processes that use VOCs are subject to strict emission standards. Esterol meets stringent VOC emission parameters. It is also very important that Esterol has a freezing point of -70 degrees C, which means that the effectiveness of reducing MFFT is very high.

What properties does it have?

Its use allows you to improve the functional value of the paint, coalescence at low temperature and color development. The agent also provides it with greater resistance, viscosity stabilization, greater flexibility, retouching and resistance to weather conditions. The product is characterized by low toxicity and is environmentally friendly. An important role in this case is played by the appropriate selection of the coalescent dose. Depending on it, you will be able to create a coating with specific parameters.

Where is it used?

Coalescent Esterol is used in all types of resin dispersions. It is a very effective agent that influences the temperature of MFFT film formation. It can be used inside all water-based coating systems, so it works well in various industries, e.g. industrial, architectural, automotive and more. It is also used in the printing industry in the production of inks, lithographic inks and chemical reaction products.
