      The reaction of rubber with sulfur proceeds at a low rate even at high temperatures. A natural rubber mixture containing only sulfur requires about 4 hours of vulcanization at 140 to fully cross-link. For this reason, attempts have been made over the years to accelerate vulcanization.

      Over the years and many studies, rubber mixture technologists now have a wide range of accelerators that can be used in mixtures.

      In order to organize this large group, they were arranged into classes according to general chemical names, divided into:
