      During use, rubber products lose their required properties. These changes, generally called aging, are caused by the action of many factors, e.g. oxygen, ozone, heat, light and mechanical deformations. In addition to the deterioration of mechanical properties, surface changes may also appear after some time. In order to minimize these harmful changes, special rubber additives, generally called aging substances, are used.

      Anti-aging substances can be divided into two categories: antioxidants and antiozonants.
