Protectosil by Evonik is a group of globally successful products in the broadly understood protection of buildings against water (hydrophobization), control and protection against graffiti (anti-graffiti), corrosion inhibition (reduction of corrosion) and surface protection (easy-to-clean). The Protectosil portfolio is so large that it allows you to find a solution for almost any substrate.
The success of Protectosil products in the protection of buildings is related to the unique size of the patented silane molecule, the size of which is approximately 1 nm (several dozen times smaller molecule compared to siloxanes or silicones). Thanks to this, the protection of the substrate is much more effective. First of all, Protectosil products are chemically bonded to the substrate, allow full vapor permeability, do not change the appearance of the surface (color), are resistant to chemical or biological degradation, are also resistant to UV rays and abrasion.
