      HECELLOSE™ are non-ionic cellulose ethers (hydroxy ethyl cellulose HEC), which are used in a wide range of applications: paints, plasters, cosmetics, petroleum technologies, polymerizations and pharmaceutical products. Hydrophobically modified HMHEC types deserve special attention.

      Depending on the type, Hecellose has unique properties:

      dissolves easily in cold water,

      helps determine the water content of the formulation

      has properties that thicken the system and increase the degree of adhesion of the product

      shows pseudoplastic properties of the solution,

      shows excellent viscosity stability in long-term storage thanks to resistance to bacterial and fungal attacks,

      creates a clean and flexible film that is an excellent barrier to oils and greases,

      is fully compatible with other ionic and non-ionic auxiliaries in aqueous solutions,

      is stable in a wide pH range of 3.0-11.0,

      shows the properties of surfactants in solutions, acting as a protective colloid and emulsifier,

      hydrophobically modified types allow for the development of “splatter-resistant” paints
